I am Portuguese/Spanish, I was born in Mozambique and I am 49 years old. I am FPAS Scubadiver, 1980, Civilian Portuguese Navy Commercial Diver 2nd and 3rd Classe (40m deep with air), 1984 and 1994, FPAS Apnoea Diving Instructor One Star, 1992, PADI Divemaster, 2009, Emergency First Response, 2008. Underwater technician in underwater archaeology, since 1982.

Education
Experience
As a technician in underwater archaeology I have worked since 1982 in the MNAE, CNANS and in the last ten years in the DANS/Division of Underwater and Nautical Archaeology. From 2005 to 2006 I worked in the IPIMAR/Institute of Fishing and Sea Research, mainly in the fish farm research caring of the maintenance of a offshore cage, among other tasks. All the above institutions belong to the Portuguese Sate. As a commercial diver I have worked to the Tecnicsub Entreprise in the construction of a submarine emissary and maintenance of another one in the north of Portugal. I also have cleaned hulls of ships, recovered some boats as well as other lost equipments and artifacts. I have worked in the south of Portugal, Algarve, in diving centers lik,e C.A.S.A., GEO and DiversCove, as auxiliary of Instructor and diving guider. I practice underwater photography for working purposes and as a hobby. I h ave been an apnoea underwater spearfisher since 1977. The 32 years of diverse diving experiences with a large amount of problem situations, with poor or almost none resources to solve them, has given me one of the most importante skill in life in general and in diving specially, that is improvisation.
